Who we are. Kidz Planet Limited, company number 04717056, registered office Units 1 & 2 Centurion Park, Caesars Way, Folkestone, Kent CT19 4AH, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website, our booking system and in our venue. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, reference ZA086892. Contact us about your data at parties@kidzplanet.co.uk or on 01303 277773.

What we collect. When you book or visit: your name, email address, phone number, booking details and payment confirmation. For parties: the name and age of the birthday child and the number of guests. If you choose to tell us, dietary requirements, allergies or medical needs of any guest, so that we can keep them safe. In the venue: CCTV images, and accident or incident records where something happens. If you sign a waiver or disclaimer, the details on it. Card details are taken by our payment provider, Dojo, and are never stored by us.

Why we use it, and the legal basis.

  • To take, manage and confirm your booking, send reminders and take payment: performance of our contract with you. Without this information we cannot take the booking.
  • To keep guests safe, run the venue, prevent fraud and handle complaints, including CCTV and incident records: our legitimate interest in running a safe venue, balanced against your rights.
  • Dietary, allergy and medical information: your explicit consent, which you give by providing it. You can withdraw it at any time, though we may then be unable to cater for that need.
  • To send you offers and news by email: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
  • To keep accounting and tax records: our legal obligations.

We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not profile you.

Who we share it with. Our booking, till and marketing platform provider, Attraxion Ltd; our card payment provider, Dojo (Paymentsense Ltd); and our email service provider. Each processes data only on our instructions. We may also share information with the emergency services, insurers or regulators where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information. Attraxion's systems are hosted in the UK and the European Economic Area, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection.

How long we keep it. Booking and payment records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required for tax and company law. Marketing consent: until you withdraw it. CCTV: 30 days unless needed for an incident. Accident and incident records: 3 years, or until the child's 21st birthday where a child is involved. Dietary and medical information: deleted after the visit it relates to.

Your rights. You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw any consent you have given. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
